This course involves a study abroad, covering specific works of classical or modern architecture, supported by a preparatory series of lectures/presentations on the subject of study. Students would be required to analyze and document specific works and study their relationship the urban history and culture of the area, to be documented and presented in a portfolio.

The objectives of this studio are:

On an academic level: To learn how to be critical about international and global architecture projects, learn about new urban planning strategies, new strategies in design and new and sustainable methods of building.

On a human/social level: To connect with people from other backgrounds and cultures, learn new traditions and develop a fair, comprehensive and critical judgment on foreign issues.
